Also named Kangaroo-fern, the Microsorum diversifolium has its origin in Australia. It's an easy going friendly fern. 
 
The deep green leaves are deeply incised and glossy, have strong, black leafstalk.
 
What makes these plants stand out is the lava block upon which it has grown. 
 
Ideal in a shady place to avoid direct sunlight. Water regularly into the tray and it will soak up the water.
