Caladium

Available in a variety of glorious colours the caladium has paper thin leaves which are most prolific from spring to autumn. Depending on the temperatures these plants can die back when the tubers should be lifted and stored for replanting in the spring.

These plants can grow up to 45cm tall with the leaves becoming proportionately bigger as the plant grows. 

Growing Conditions:

Light: Bright to moderate, avoiding direct sun.

Temperature and humidity: Warm, but moderate in dormancy. High humidity.

Feeding: Weekly.

Watering: Keep moist, reduce in autumn and keep slightly moist in winter.

Propagation: Division, tubers.
