Carnivorous

Some of the most fascinating of the houseplant world, these carnivorous plants require little human intervention outside of watering and repotting. Each plant will capture different insects. The Drosera is perfect for catching those annoying fungus gnats whilst the Nepenthes and Dionea (Venus fly trap) will catch bigger insects.

Growing Conditions:

Light: Bright with sun.

Temperature and humidity: Warm but cooler at night. Moderate to high humidity.

Feeding: These plants should be able to catch enough food on their own but if you think they need more you can supplement with fish food.

Watering: Keep moist.

Propagation: Division.
