Fittonia

Also known as the 'Nerve Plant', the Fittonia leaves have intricate veins in contrasting colours to the rest of the leaf. One of the most varied plants in terms of colour. Available in pinks, greens, greys, reds and even neon colouring, these plants are often used in terrariums where they happily grow without interference.

It is a small, dense, creeping plant originating from the rainforests of Peru. They are perfect for bathrooms and can be planted together to create a colourful display.

Growing Conditions:

Light: Moderate to shady, avoiding direct sun.

Temperature and humidity: Warm. High humidity.

Feeding: Fortnightly. Occasionally in winter.

Watering: Keep moist but avoid waterlogging.

Propagation: Tip cuttings.
