Light
Alocasia Zebrina
The Alocasia Zebrina can be a little tricky to care for, however with a little experimentation you will be rewarded when you find
a location the plant loves.
They enjoy higher humity so spray it regularly or place on a pebble tray/group with other plants. When spraying ensure the water does not sit on the plant for too long - ensure there is good ventilation. The plant will go dormant in low temperatures (consistently below 15°C), dormancy may be triggerred by low light in winter. When this happens the leaves will turn yellow and drop. This is not a cause for concern, simply cut the stem off and it will wake again come the warmer weather.
Keep the soil moist; watering when the top of the soil dries. Do not let it sit in water, remove excess water. Alocasia enjoy bright inderect light.
