Dracaena

Dracaena grow from a central stem with long, slender leaves which have variegation in a number of colours. Planting a number of these stems together creates a large indoor bush effect. You can even plant different varieties together which makes for a beautiful display.

Larger varieties can grow to over 1m tall. With the tall stem they create interest at higher points in the room without taking up floor space making them ideal for smaller rooms or tight corners.

Growing Conditions:

Light: Bright, but aviod summer sun.

Temperature and humidity: Moderate to warm. Moderate to high humidity.

Feeding: Fortnightly. Twice during winter.

Watering: Water when compost surface dry.

Propagation: Tip cuttings, stem sections.
