This little plant is a great starter to the world of Bonsai's. It makes a great gift.
 
Ginseng is the Chinese word for "roots" - of which you can clearly see. Bonsai is Japanese for "Tree in a pot". This plant can be pruned to give it shape.
 
It is sturdy and easy to care for. Water when the soil dries and do not leave sitting in water, if it's hot give it a little misting.
 
Also known as curtain fig, Indian laurel, Maylay banyan, Chinese banyan, glossy-leaf fig.
