These leaves have a velvet feel and a tinge of red in colour as they grow.
It is a trailing Philodendron that will grow quickly and look gorgeous winding down from a shelf or book case.
A very easy care plant. Water when the top 1-2cm of soil is dry. To increase the fullness of you plant you can take cuttings and root them in water of soil and plant them back in with the main plant.
Philodendron Micans
Keep in a bright spot but without direct sunlight. Allow potting mix to dry out before watering. Soil about 3,5cm down should be dry to touch. Water more frequently during warmer months and fertilise during growth season. Generally, the plant will droop to show that it needs more water. Do not overwater or keep the soil wet for too long, as this will encourage root rot.
